Mini Cement Plants
Our
mini cement plants have a capacity range from 100 to 300 metric tons per day of
cement only,
based in the last technology dry process and completely automated.
The approximate cost for a 300 metric tons per day of cement plant is around 13
million dollars,
without erection expenses. The implementation period is around twenty four
months.
This price includes new mechanical parts, brand new electrical system and laboratory equipment.
You also can
use some second-hand machinery, decreasing the total cost
considerably.
The amount you reduce the total cost of the cement plant will depend on how
cheap you can buy the used machinery.
However you will have to buy a big part as new equipment.
The complete gamma of services which are included is:
If you consider that our price is according to your budget we can send you more technical information and a formal quotation.

The small plants producing 300 MT/day but can work parallel with others what
means i.e.
5 plants x 300 MT/day = 1,500 MT Zement per day.
Each plant costs just 13 Million USD
(5 plants producing 1.5 Mill MT/day 65 Million USD)
The described 3 Plants below are sold
for other Second Hand Equipment and Plants please ask

Note: Please see the detailed equipment and parts lists on separate
pages.
The two plants are what we consider to be the real gems. Although they are shut down, they have been maintained in excellent shape and could actually be operational in 48 hours. We are trying to encourage potential buyers to come and actually visit the plants. Once the plants are viewed we believe a buyer will quickly agree to the asset as being excellent value. The asking price for each plant is US$ 2.5 million "as is". There is about USD$ 0.8 million worth of spare parts available at each plant and is included in the selling price. The both other plants have recently been appraised at USD$ 6-7 million each. The owner is very motivated to sell these plants and would certainly be interested in negotiating a package price.
A rough estimate on costs to dismantel, crate, and transport to the port would be about USD$ 2 million. That is only based on the cost that was incurred by the dismantling of the other plant several years ago which was in the order of about USD$ 1.3 million. Assuming costs are slightly higher and distance to the other both is greater than from that, we therefore project the cost to be in the order of about USD$ 2.2 million for the dismantling, crating, transport, etc. This can be better quantified once a specific project is on the table.
We are very interested in having a potential buyer visit the site as we are convinced the excellent quality of the assets will be quite evident. We can make all the arrangements from this end but its up to the buyer to go himself. This would also show some serious interest. For your information, we currently have several potential buyers that have expressed an interest in these cement plants but no one has yet put a deposit on either of the plants and as far as we are concerned they all remain for sale and will remain for sale until there is a deposit made. Basically, its first come, first served and we will continue to promote them until they are sold.
In addition to the above information, we are also able to provide you with several items such as:
1. A letter from C.O.T.C. confirming their position as the mandate for the sale of the plants together with their offer of your commission in the event of a sale resulting from your identification of a buyer.
2. A more detailed description of each plant and the equipment therein.
Hopefully, the above gives you a reasonable overview of the project and on the respective parties that are involved in the sale. This obviously won't answer all your questions but should provide enough information to give you a general overview of the project. We would very much appreciate any assistance you can provide in the promotion of this project and the identification of a potential buyer.
CEMENT PLANT 1
HISTORY
In 1956, a cement plant utilizing the dry process was erected by
the Cement Company
Extensive upgrading of the original equipment resulted in greater
improved efficiency and increased production capacity from the original
318 tones per day of clinker to 680 tones per day.
All equipment was meticulously maintained and is in good working
order.
By 1987 the kiln had been refurbished by a kiln section replacement
program.
PLANT PROCESS
Limestone was received in 19 car unit trains from a quarry located
480 kilometers north of the plant site.
Limestone was dumped with the aid of a car shaker into an under
track hopper and further conveyed onto a 35,000 ton limestone stockpile.
Through a reclaiming tunnel the rock product was discharged into
a 180 ton hammermill and further into the limestone hopper feeding the
raw mill.
Clay was quarried on a company owned site adjacent to the plant,
air-dried and delivered (by contractor) to the crushing station.
Depending upon the moisture content the material may have been passed
through a clay drier before being discharged into the clay storage bin.
A limestone, clay, iron, sand mix was fed into a raw mill and discharged
to the clay storage bin. The mix was pneumatically transported to the 11'
x 375' Allis Chalmers dry natural gas fired kiln.
The clinker was cooled by a Fuller grate cooler and reduced in size by a hammermill before being conveyed by drag conveyor and bucket elevator to the clinker storage hall.
Two Allis Chalmers cement finish mills were fed clinker and gypsum by an overhead crane from the storage hall.
Finished product was pneumatically conveyed to eight storage silos ready for shipment.

CEMENT PLANT 2
HISTORY
Cement Limited began operation in 1964 with the construction of
a wet plant manufacturing facility.
The plant site and clay quarry covering approximately 248 acres
are located in the southwest
The plant completed a $2.2 million upgrading in 1987. The plant
was closed in 1992.
PLANT PROCESS
Limestone was acquired in 25 car units from Cement quarry located
240 kilometers north of the plant site. From the rail car the limestone
was conveyed to a conical storage pile which is reclaimed by an underground
feeder and conveyor system.
Conveyed material was fed into a Pennsylvania hammermill and transported
to the limestone storage bin by conveyor belt.
Clay quarried from property adjacent to the plant site was prepared
in a washmill which was pumped to a 12 meter high by 15 meter diameter
storage tank.
The clay slurry together with sand, iron, and limestone were fed
into an F.L. Smidth raw mill and further pumped into one of two slurry
storage tanks. The slurry was fed to the F.L. Smidth rotary kiln 138 meters
long by 4.5 meters reducing to 4 meters and 3.4 meters in diameter.
Clinker was discharged from the kiln into a Fol ax cooler and into
either a clinker storage hall or clinker silos. Clinker was recovered from
the storage hall by an underground belt conveyor, which dumps onto a belt
system going to the clinker silos.
A clinker and gypsum mills were conveyed into the two cement finishing
ball mills
1-3.4 meter by 10 meter F.L. Smidth Mill
1 - 2.4 metre by 11.4 metre Allison Chalmers Mill
Finished product was transferred through a cement cooler to finished
product silos for shipment. The plant was natural gas fired, but could
burn coal, oil or other fuels.

CEMENT PLANT 3
HISTORY
The #1 Kiln was added in 1948 and in 1958 the #2 Kiln was completed.
A new section was brought on stream during the 1980-1983 time period and
the complete plant was operational until September 1987.
The plant was coal fired but could burn natural gas, oil or other
fuels.
The plant is in running condition and could be disassembled at any
time.
PROCESS
Limestone was trucked from 48 kms. north and clay was trucked
from pits near. The raw materials were pulverized in huge rotary mills
and water was added to the mixture. The slurry was stored in blend and
slurry tanks with 34% water. This was fed into long revolving kilns as
per the "wet" process of cement manufacturing. Electrostatic precipitators
and wet scrubbers trapped dust before it could escape the stack.
The kilns burned the slurry mixture at 2700 Degrees Fahrenheit producing white-hot clinker that moved by gravity through the kilns. Clusters of tubes attached to the burning end of the kiln shifted the clinker to cool it. The clinker was stored, then pulverized in the Finish Mill Room. About 4% raw gypsum was added before grinding to control the setting time of the cement. The cement was stored in bulk silos and shipped either in bulk or sack form by truck, rail and barge.
