Environmentally Friendly Disinfection and Water Treatment RIWO - SAN is in two words:

Hydrogen - Peroxide has been known and used for a long time for perfect disinfection, in dilutions between 2 % (available from the shelves of any drugstore) and 6 % (in hospitals). The reason the period that prevented its more extensive application has mainly been the fact that it evaporates very quickly, i. e. it breaks up into water and oxygen.

In the nineteen-eighties a German chemical engineer suceeded in finding a formula to stabilize H2O2, so it can now be stored like water.

A different formula to stabilize H2O2 has been known for some time, using acetic acid, the smell of vinegar however restricting its use mostly to papermills etc.

RIWO - SAN is an excellent environmentally friendly product without chlorine, aldehydes, phenols, surfactants and alcohol. The ingredients have a sterilising effect even when highly diluted. From the ingredients it contains according to a tried and tested formula, a disinfectant with a long-lasting effect has been created. - In contrast to conventional disinfectants such as chlorine, RIWO - SAN is odorless, does not cause any irritation to the eyes in the concentration it is used and does not produce any chlorinated organic substances or similar poisonous and carcinogenic compounds. It is also fully effective at high water temperatures.

RIWO - SAN prevents bacteria, germs and viruses such as legionnaire's disease from developing. This are particularly prevalent in warm water areas.

RIWO - SAN also gets rid of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, fungi and their spores, sheathed and unsheathed viruses, amoeba as well biofilms.
